Welcome to Cafe Planta! 🌿

Hi there! I’m Parisa – proud plant parent, interior design enthusiast, and founder of Cafe Planta.

In 2020, my family and I made the big move to a charming little town tucked into the Sierra Nevada mountains. Surrounded by trees, wildflowers, and breathtaking landscapes, I couldn’t help but feel inspired to bring the outdoors in. That’s when the real adventure began – designing our new home with fewer things and more greenery.

Now, I won’t lie – I’ve killed my fair share of plants over the years (RIP, sweet pothos #3), but I was determined to figure out how to keep these green beauties thriving. And that determination grew into something amazing.

In 2023, Cafe Planta sprouted into existence – a delightful mix of handmade pottery, vintage mugs, and the sweetest houseplants. What started as a small project has now blossomed into a brick-and-mortar shop, cozily nestled ins the most charming shop in downtown Sonora.

At Cafe Planta, my hope is to share everything I’ve learned about keeping plants happy and styling them in ways that make your space feel magical. Plants bring me so much joy, and I hope Cafe Planta can sprinkle a little of that joy into your life, too.
